Statement

Artist's Statement :  Being creative in whatever form is a necessary part of my life. I work in the media of printmaking, painting and photography and enjoy the diversity of different media. My work centres around my personal life and usually has an element of narrative.

My most recent work has been a commission for a luxury development in Portugal to create 20 paintings of daily life in the western Algarve.

Since then I have been working as an artist in schools and teaching printmaking from my studio.I am also engaged in developing more personal work.

Judy studied Fine Art at Birmingham and Bristol Art Schools. Her work is exhibited widely and she has completed many public and private commissions for site specific works in hospitals, schools and hotels.

Judy is also a printmaker and a member of The Royal Society of painter printmakers. Her work has recently been shown at the London Original Print Fair and the Royal West of England Academy in Bristol.
